A Day at the Races - 2006
Return to Oh, What Fun We Had!
As last year, we arranged for a catered buffet in the Emerald Room. Attendance this year was 247, representing 32 different Chapters in Western Washington! We had a lot of fun giving away great door prizes, everyone received a beautiful red, purple or pink scarf, and a Gilda's Club CD. We all had a wonderful time, some ladies had a lot of luck playing the ponies, the food was great, and we're all coming back next year! At 1:00, track representatives rounded up all the Red Hatters they could find for this great group shot. There were lots of ladies in attendance, as well as our own group, and not everyone made it down for the photograph. There may have been 400 Red Hatters that day!

All Northwest chapters were invited to join us for our 2nd Annual Day at the Races, held at Emerald Downs in Auburn, WA. The track officially named July 15th as Red Hat Day, and anyone wearing a Red Hat was admitted for free! Rottle's of Auburn gave away 5 -$100 gift certificates, and put on a great fashion show between the races.;
